The Spa Valley Railway (SVR) is a standard gauge heritage railway in the United Kingdom that runs from Tunbridge Wells West railway station in Royal Tunbridge Wells to High Rocks, Groombridge, and Eridge, where it links with the Oxted Line.
It crosses the Kent and East Sussex border, covering a distance of 5 miles (8 km), along the former Wealden Line between Tunbridge Wells Central and Lewes. The railway headquarters is also at Tunbridge Wells West railway station.

The Spa Valley Railway route addon for Train Simulator was originally produced by Geoff Potter on UKTrainSim for Railsimulator in 2008 and from 2009 it was re-released for use in Railworks (Now Known As: Train Simulator Classic) .

In July 2021 permission was granted to BLS Staff Member Benjamin Puddick (BJP) for a major overhaul of the route and its assets to bring it up to more modern day standards, Much of the route has been rebuilt from the ground up, track has been
completely relaid from Tunbridge Wells West to Eridge with Poke Farm and its surrounding area rebuilt using the google maps overlay's.

NOTE: This route is based between the years 2019 to 2025 (Some Scenarios Pre-Date This), If the line has had any changes since 2025 it will have not been implemented into this route addon. You must have a copy of Train SImulator Classic for this DLC to work. It is also recommended to note that this route is reconstructed with high detail and is designed to run on higher spec computers. If you do not have a suitable PC with a decent graphics card, processor and memory then you may experience some stuttering.
